The Story of a Custom Boardroom Table

A Seattle-based infrastructure and security technology company has found a way to secure their client and employee relationships with a focus on comfort, amenities, and beautiful views outside and in. Working with NBBJ, we designed and engineered a stunning boardroom table, for the firm’s downtown headquarters, that is almost as long as the list of details it contains.
The table can comfortably seat 28 people along its 35ft length. In order to best accommodate users, hidden drawers built into the base provide each chair with concealed technology ports.
The table shape is a long trapezoid with the wider end facing the monitor wall, allowing unobstructed views during presentations.
White Quartz with dark veining bisected by a bronze metal inlay running the length of the top provide dramatic movement to the surface of the piece.
Bronze metal details are found throughout the table including the custom drawer pulls, the top inlay, and the fin base.
